Location: 

Fletcher Bay is slightly east of the northernmost point of the Coromandel Peninsula to the east of Auckland. You can see Fletcher Bay marked at the very top of the map at the right.

53km by road from Coromandel town, the last hour from Colville to Fletcher Bay is on unsealed metal road with stunning views.

Colville General Store is the last shop and petrol stop before Fletcher Bay.

Driving times:

From Auckland, allow 90 mins to reach Thames, then 60 mins to Coromandel town, then 30 mins to Colville, then 60 mins to Fletcher Bay.

You'll probably want to take longer than that for the trip as there are so many beautiful spots of interest along the coast you'll want to stop and photograph often.
